Quanterion Solutions Announces In-Person Reliability Open Training

June 2023 Session Sold Out, Two Courses for September 2023 Now Available

Quanterion Solutions is offering reliability engineering open training on Tuesday, Sept. 12 through Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023. The in-person training will be hosted at Drury Inn & Suites Albuquerque North, Albuquerque, NM.

Attendees can choose between two course options – Reliability 201: Quantitative Reliability Analysis and Weibull Analysis.

Managers or engineers interested in the training are encouraged to sign up early as the last open training session for another course, Reliability 101, was sold out months ahead of time. An early bird discount of $200 off is offered for registrations placed on or before Friday, May 19. This discount cannot be combined with the group discount options.

About Reliability 201: Quantitative Reliability Analysis

The course is ideal for those new to the field as well as managers who want to increase their awareness of the payoffs of different approaches and experienced reliability engineers interested in a refresher course.

Reliability should be an integral part of all aspects of a system’s life cycle, including requirements definition, concept development, product design, design verification, qualification, reliability growth management and testing, reliability demonstration testing, and field monitoring and support. As any reliability practitioner can attest, an overwhelming number of calculations and statistics are used to determine how system requirements should be allocated and how the design should be modeled, assessed and re-designed to maximize customer satisfaction or meet requirements. This course presents and demonstrates common mathematical calculations and statistical techniques that reliability engineers use every day.

Reliability 201: Quantitative Reliability Analysis is an excellent follow-on to Reliability 101: Introduction to Reliability Engineering and Design for Reliability courses.

About Weibull Analysis

This course is for those who wish to develop their engineering knowledge, learn how to perform real-world life data analyses and applications to products, or simply deepen their understanding of reliability analyses to enrich their technical career.

Weibull analysis is the starting point to problem-solving for most production reliability and maintainability issues. This three-day course gives a complete overview of Weibull analysis, starting with the basics of performing a Weibull analysis and interpreting the results. The course progresses through more complex applications of Weibull as well as other distributions.

About the Training Organization

The open training is provided through Quanterion Solutions’ Reliability, Maintainability and Quality Knowledge Center (RMQSI), which has been educating organizations and individuals in the U.S. and worldwide since the company’s beginning in 2000.

“RMQSI’s training courses were developed by in-house reliability experts with decades of practical experience in reliability engineering,” said Preston MacDiarmid, President of Quanterion Solutions Incorporated. “Our training is sought after by industry, government and academia for its accelerated concepts-to-application approach.”

The training explores common mathematical calculations and statistical techniques used by engineers in their day-to-day work – from calculating failure predictions common in the prototyping lab to analyzing defects in current products on the shop floor.

“Our training minimizes technical jargon to focus on the practical applications of reliability analyses,” said Rich Wisniewski, Senior Reliability Engineer at Quanterion Solutions Incorporated. “After three days of training, attendees will walk away with the ability to identify and perform the various types of reliability assessments applicable for a new product at all life cycle stages – from concept to design to test and finally to field support.”
