Description:Quanterion Solutions Incorporated in Utica, NY is seeking a Linux Configuration Technician to join our growing team. This position specifically involves the configuration of Linux desktop machines to conform to the guidance provided in the AIX Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) tool.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or related discipline. An Associates Degree may be accepted when paired with significant work experience or relevant certifications.
  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator, IT Specialist, or a similar role.
  • Experience configuring Linux based desktops.
  • Attention to detail, resourcefulness, problem solving, and excellent communication skills.
  • Applicant must be able to travel in the immediate area and be available for on-call support during operational hours.
  • Applicant must have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification

Desirable Traits:

  • Experience with the AIX Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
  • A Linux related certification such as CompTIA’s Linux+
  • Experience with DoD terminology and acronyms.

Location: Rome, NY

Description: Quanterion Solutions Incorporation is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team and support our Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) customer. The successful candidate will work on site at the DTRA facility located on Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. DTRA is tasked with reducing the threat of weapons of mass destruction. To achieve this goal, Quanterion Solutions Inc. manages the Defense Threat Reduction Information Analysis Center (DTRIAC) for DTRA. DTRIAC represents DTRA’s institutional knowledge and repository of Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) data.

The Technical Writer position will be responsible for providing dedicated technical writing/documentation support to DTRA’s Test Science and Technology Department. Specific tasks include taking notes at meetings, drafting minutes and staffing the report with attendees. The successful candidate must be able to generate draft meeting minutes within 24 hours for review and must be able to generate final meeting minutes within five days of receiving review inputs.

This position will also involve providing updates to wall display boards; providing monthly inputs to web pages with information on the meeting and conferences and assisting the Lead Technical Editor as required on publication editing and staffing.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or Higher
  • 6+ years of related experience as Technical Writer or a similar role.
  • Ability to edit materials for format, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ability to make recommendations concerning content and meaning.
  • Attention to detail, resourcefulness, problem solving, account management, and communication skills.

Desirable Traits:

  • Experience with Department of Defense explosive testing.
  • An understanding of classification levels, caveats, distribution statements, other types of controlled unclassified information (CUI) and the corresponding markings for each.
  • Experience with DoD terminology and acronyms.

Location: Albuquerque – Kirtland AFB

Description: The successful candidate will apply analysis and design techniques of complex systems in a broad area such as manufacturing, engineering, statistics, logistics planning, and material management. This position requires competence in all phases of systems analysis techniques, concepts, and methods and knowledge of available system software, computer equipment, and the regulations of structure, techniques, and management practices of one or more subject-matter areas. Since input data usually come from diverse sources, the analyst is responsible for recognizing probable conflicts and integrating diverse data elements and sources, and produce innovative solutions for a variety of complex problems. Must be able to tie the RAM data together to come up with formidable recommendations and work with the Government to solve the problem for a viable Life Cycle operation.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering/Systems Engineering.
  • 10 years of professional experience as an Engineer or a similar role.
  • Attention to detail, resourcefulness, problem solving, account management, and communication skills.
  • Applicant must be able to travel in the immediate area.

Security Requirement: Applicant must be able to obtain a US DoD TOP SECRET/SCI level security clearance. US citizenship required.

Location: Springfield, Virginia Area

Description: The successful candidate will conduct research and development in the areas of cybersecurity operations support, red- and blue-team activities, military-specific cybersecurity tools, and log/dataset analysis. In addition, duties will include support in the areas of system administration, incident response, and cyber threat analysis.

Qualifications: Must be cognizant of and familiar with military cybersecurity policy and procedure. Must have demonstrated capability in a programming language and familiarity with standard cybersecurity toolsets (red and blue team perspectives).  Must be able to explore new techniques and technologies to solve complex problems. Minimum BS Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 2 years of industry experience required.

Description: The successful candidate will analyze technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Research and develop subject matters and areas of interest within the M&S Community

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Systems Engineering principles. Experience in Modeling and Simulation (M&S), including distributed simulation systems, DoD High Level Architecture (HLA) or Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) is preferred. Experience in developing and/or applying M&S in support of training, experimentation, acquisition, and analysis. BS degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics with 5 years of industry experience required.

Description: The successful candidate will design, create, and implement a variety of software solutions to meet internal and external customer’s needs. This includes analysis, requirements gathering, coding, testing, and documentation for individual and team project tasks.

Qualifications: Experience with one or more of the following is desired: Object Oriented Development, Drupal, Linux, Apache, MySQL, PhP, C/C++, Javascript, Java Frameworks (Hibernate), Web Services. BS in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering and 2-5 years of industry experience required.

Description: The experienced Information Technology (IT) professional will provide an array of IT support. Experience with current and legacy operating systems (Windows 95-Windows 7), Windows based servers from Microsoft Server 2000 to Server 2008.

Qualifications: The candidate should have experience in deployment/development/maintenance of Microsoft Exchange email servers, SharePoint, MS Communicator servers, MS Forefront threat management Gateway servers and MS office suite programs. They should also have extensive networking hardware knowledge for single/multi location support, diagnose, repair and upgrade, with advanced Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions with MS servers, Cisco firewall/routers and SonicWall firewalls/routers as well as some Linux/Unix and MAC OS support. The candidate should have a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems or Mathematics and 2 years of industry experience required.

Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client’s specifications. Must create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. Candidate must have a strong understanding of user interfaces, search optimization, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

Qualifications: Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units. Hands on experience HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications. Experience with Content Management Systems [CMS] is a plus.
