Quanterion Solutions is sponsoring the spring 2021 CNY Hackathon, a regional cybersecurity competition, which will be hosted online on Friday, 9 April and Saturday, 10 April.
Students participate in challenges that task each team with penetrating a target to take control or defending their systems from attackers in order to maintain control.
The two-day event will kick off at 1100 EDT on Friday with a series of security related presentations conducted by industry professionals. The competition portion of the event will begin promptly at 0900 on Saturday and run until 1700 EDT.
Utica College and Mohawk Valley Community College are partnering to host the CNY Hackathon. This event is hosted each fall and spring semester to improve the state of computer science and cybersecurity education, and more closely align academia with Central New York industry partners.
