Reliability Growth Design and Test

Advance your reliability engineering prowess through a variety of topics including reliability growth management, reliability growth through design (FMEA/FMECA, FTA, Reliability Physics/Physics of Failure, Accelerated Life Testing, and Orthogonal Defect Classification for Software) and reliability growth through test (FRACAS; reliability planning, tracking and projection models). The course also provides unique and innovative approaches that measure, quantify and improve the effectiveness of Design for Reliability (DFR) activities.

This three-day course immerses you in the reliability growth process associated with robust design and test techniques. It defines the basic concepts that lead to reliability growth and illustrates how these concepts can be most effectively applied using a variety of design and test methods.

Are you responsible for developing or managing products/systems that require high reliability, reduced warranty exposure, managed life cycle costs and increased customer satisfaction? Enter Reliability Growth Design and Test – the course with a laser focus on improving reliability for products and systems.

Reliability engineers, design engineers, system engineers, and managers will all benefit from this course.

Get ready to learn the following skills to apply at your current or future workplace:

  • Reliability Growth Tracking and Projection
  • Accelerated Testing
  • Reliability Physics of Failure (PoF)
  • Reliability Growth Planning
  • Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
  • Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
  • And more!

Get familiar with the essential methods and techniques necessary to achieve reliability growth through all phases of product/system development. This course explores the activities and opportunities that can be leveraged to promote and achieve reliability growth throughout the entire system/product life cycle.

The open training is provided through Quanterion Solutions’ Reliability, Maintainability and Quality Knowledge Center (RMQSI), which has been educating organizations and individuals in the U.S. and worldwide since the company’s beginning in 2000.

“RMQSI’s training courses were developed by in-house reliability experts with decades of practical experience in reliability engineering,” said Preston MacDiarmid, President of Quanterion Solutions Incorporated. “Our training is sought after by industry, government and academia for its accelerated concepts-to-application approach.”

The training explores common mathematical calculations and statistical techniques used by engineers in their day-to-day work – from calculating failure predictions common in the prototyping lab to analyzing defects in current products on the shop floor.

“Our training minimizes technical jargon to focus on the practical applications of reliability analyses,” said Rich Wisniewski, Senior Reliability Engineer at Quanterion Solutions Incorporated. “After three days of training, attendees will walk away with the ability to identify and perform the various types of reliability assessments applicable for a new product at all life cycle stages – from concept to design to test and finally to field support.”
