Gain a Live “Demo” of the Reliability 101 Curriculum and Meet the Instructor
Webinar will be hosted Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 2 p.m. EST
The in-person Reliability 101: Introduction to Reliability Engineering course is Quanterion’s most popular training that is attended by a wide variety of engineers from those new to reliability to managers who want a refresher on the many analyses covered in the course. Reliability 101 is a foundational course to understanding basic reliability engineering principles and how to implement these principles during product design, manufacturing, test and field support.
Unsure if Reliability 101 training is a fit for your team’s skill levels and organizational goals? Join us for a 15-minute webinar to preview the course and ask the instructor your questions about reliability training!
You will meet the Reliability 101 instructor, Quanterion’s Sr. Reliability Engineer Rich Wisniewski, who will give you an insider’s view of the course and be available to answer your questions about this course or any other course we offer.
Key Takeaways
- Preview the Reliability 101 curriculum and explore the training with the instructor, Rich Wisniewski
- Gain an understanding of the instruction format and methods and Mr. Wisniewski’s teaching style
- Determine if Reliability 101, or other courses in Quanterion’s on-site or open training schedule, may be a fit for your team
- Ask Mr. Wisniewski about course schedules and formats, applying the material, and other questions in an open Q&A
- And more!

Mr. Wisniewski is a seasoned reliability engineer and instructor with more than 40 years of experience in applying reliability, maintainability and safety engineering design, analysis, testing and screening methods and failure analysis and field support techniques on a variety of commercial products and military equipment/systems.
His work spans a wide variety of programs including radar, microwave/RF sensor systems, flight controls, mission computers, fixed and rotary winged full authority digital engine controls, regenerative liquid propellant guns, lightweight howitzers, and commercial and military hybrid electric vehicle drive train components.
At Quanterion, he leads efforts to support government and industry customers in designing reliability/quality into products and systems, solve product reliability problems and identify corrective actions using techniques such as electrical stress analyses, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, standard statistical analysis, and the collection, analysis and modeling of failure data.
Datasets
Nonelectronic Parts Reliability Data – NPRD-2023
The 2023 Edition of the Nonelectronic Parts Reliability Data publication (NPRD-2023) is available through ROADS and presents field failure rate data on a wide variety of mechanical and electromechanical parts and assemblies. The parts cover ground, airborne and naval environments. NPRD-2023 adds 300,000 new failure rate records and 13,000 new components compared to its predecessor.
