Quanterion Solutions Incorporated (QSI), headquartered in Utica, NY, announces recent additions to its staff in connection with new business at multiple locations:
Stephen Redifer is the Director of National Capital Region (NCR) Operations after retiring at the rank of Colonel after an outstanding 28-year Marine Corps career. His final assignments included Commanding Officer of the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force in the NCR and Military Test Evaluator in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University, MS degree in Applied Physics and Space Systems Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Masters of Strategic Studies from the Air War College.
Joseph Caroli is a Senior Program Manager following a distinguished career at the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate (AFRL/RI) in Rome, NY where he managed the AFRL High Performance Systems Branch, leading 22 scientists and engineers, and 15 in-house contractors. His organization addressed high performance computing, neuromorphic computing, AI/machine learning, cyber technology, and assured computing. He has a BS in Nuclear Science and Engineering from the SUNY Maritime College and an MS in Computer and Information Science from the SUNY Polytechnic Institute, as well as a Cyber Warfare Certification from the Naval Post Graduate School.
Sarah Zammiello is the Human Resources Manager after twelve years at Upstate Cerebral Palsy, most recently as Associate Vice President of Human Resources. She has a BS in Psychology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Springfield College. She is a Board Member of the Samaritan Counseling Center (Personnel Committee Chair) and past President of Mohawk Valley Society for Human Resource Management (MVSHRM).
Brad Kempeny is a Network/Systems Administrator following an Information Technology (IT) Specialist position at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) in Rome, NY. He previously served as an Army Civil Affairs Specialist and has studied Computer Engineering at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. He holds numerous networking and software-related certifications.
In addition, QSI has recently added 18 new technical staff members to its operation of the Defense Threat Reduction Information Analysis Center (DTRIAC) in Albuquerque, NM, as the result of expanded government tasking.
